Ripasso is obtained by refermentation in the lees of the Amarone for 20-25 days. This red wine is vibrant and has a full ruby red reflective color. Intense, fruity with notes of cherry, blueberry, spices and liquorice. Dry, warm and soft tasting, elegant tannins, very persistent.
The chalky, argillaceous terrain that characterizes production at Corte Lenguin is situated around 250-300 meters above level, within the classic Valpolicella wine production region.
