This Syrah is a dry, full-bodied, opaque wine, with brisk acidity and firm tannins. The color is intense ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet has notes of red fruit, coffee and pepper in harmony; with hints of vanilla. The taste is elegant and excellent structure, with fine tannins and long aftertaste.
As a general rule Syrah pairs very well with grilled meats, vegetables, wild game and beef stew. Barbecue, especially spareribs. Braised beef. Cheese, especially aged hard cheeses like Gouda. Chicken, especially barbecued and braised Duck. Grilled meats and vegetables. Hamburgers. Lamb, especially roast leg of lamb.
