Barbi Lago di Corbara is an important red wine, with an intense ruby color and garnet shades. The scent, not particularly strong, reveals hints of ripe red fruit, which are the main feature accompanied by notes of spices, undergrowth, licorice, and vanilla. On the palate, it confirms its softness, structure, and roundness with beautiful spicy notes that are pleasantly striking; the tannins are not overpowering and it has good persistence.
Best with strong and savoury dishes like roasts and game, red meat, hard solid cheese
