Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G.

Fattoria Svetoni

The noble red wine of Montepulciano is so called because it was considered fit for nobleman — and it indeed became quite popular among the clientele. The color is garnet, the aroma is delicate with notes of violet. The flavor is dry, lightly tannic.

Food Pairing   Pairs well with grilled or roasted meats, specifically beef, lamb, wild boar, and duck, go best with this wine, as do thick meat sauces made from the same meats and mixed with fresh vegetables and tomatoes.
