Corte Lenguin Azienda Vinicola
Deep dark mahogany color with brilliant red hues at rim. Different from the Ripasso which, despite being 1 year younger, shows more signs of aging at rim with a more pronounced maroon color. Aromas are much more round and wrapping with hints of licorice, and leather. At palate, less acidity than Ripasso but more full body with a "semi-sweet" aftertaste, silky tannins, almost reminiscent of a Port wine with flavors of licorice, leather with a dark chocolate, brown sugar finish. Full mouthfeel.
