The vineyards, located in the highest hills where are produced Gavi and Dolcetto d’Ovada, involve a lot of growing difficulties due to the very accentuated slopes. The hilly conformation of the ground combined with the clayey white soil, and the over thirty years old vines make their wines full bodied. BUY
The vineyards - facing due south - are tended with love, providing grapes of the highest quality that develop into wines with matchless properties. Barbaresco and Nebbiolo
The quality of the wines therefore depends on nature - the sun, climate and soil - but also on the way in which the vines are grown and tended. This is why in making its wines, the Abrigo winery only uses grapes selected from its own estate.
Terre Dei Roveri
2010 Barolo: Flying High Again By Antonio Galloni The 2010 vintage in Barolo is shaping up to be a modern-day classic. The cool growing season produced transparent, vibrant Barolos that pulsate with tension, crystalline purity and site-specific nuance.
A perfect symbiosis, a strong union between man and Nature where each stage is supported by an experienced oenological practice that allows the glass to become a veritable poetry of the senses: balance, immediacy, depth, preciousness.

The Santa Lucrezia is obtained from a variety of ancient origins, Croatina, where, in the landscape and in the microclimate of the hilly area between Cisterna d'Asti and Canale d'Alba, it has found its ideal habitat.
The flavor, well harmonized and semi-sweet, is full and with a slightly bitter aftertaste. In addition to the typical and exclusive taste of green stalk, the Santa Lucrezia features notes of almond, raspberry, and strawberry.
